Requirements:

2. Personal Statement 
3. Photograph
4. Medical School Performance Evaluation (MSPE) or Dean's Letter
5. Three letters of recommendation / EM Residency SLOE’s strongly preferred
6. Medical School Transcripts
7. USMLE/COMLEX Scores-must pass Level 1 and 2 exams by the time of the NRMP Rank Order Deadline
8. Accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA)**
9. Meet requirements to obtain an Intern / Resident Physician Medical License from the Florida Medical Board
10. Meet requirements for employment at Florida State University and Sarasota Memorial Hospital

** As a substitute you may also be a graduate from a college of osteopathic medicine in the United States. accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA); or, a medical school outside the United States or Canada: 

• graduated from med school in the last 3 years
• Valid ECFMG certificate must be obtained before submitting application
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• We do NOT offer observerships
