For the Medical Students

For medical students Residents are provided with a curriculum on 'being a teacher.'  Residents assist in teaching FSU College of Medicine and  ACOM students.

First and second-year students may be assigned preceptorships with faculty in the resident clinic.

Third-year students do their internal medicine clerkship at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare

Fourth-year students are scheduled for required sub-internships and electives in general and sub-specialty medicine. They are essentially treated like an intern. They write notes, admit patients, present their patients on their rounds and can participate in night float (NF) duties.

We teach evidence based medicine and our students are enhancing the training of our residents. One-time teaching is learning twice. Try us out!
