The purpose of the Surgery and Anesthesiology Group is to allow students to experience and gain interest in the surgical field through shadowing current physicians, learning about the career paths, and understanding/practicing the skills needed in the operating room. The organization gives each student the opportunity to work with current surgeons and to participate in clinics aimed at suturing and OR etiquette.
