The Sports Medicine Interest Group (SMIG) seeks to develop educational opportunities for medical students interested in sports medicine and to promote the importance of exercise as part of healthy lifestyles for future patients. The group offers a lunch-and-learn series and is assisting team doctors and athletic trainers at local sporting events. Students in this group also participated in the Tallahassee Youth Sports Festival.
