FSU COM Faculty Development Library Resource Module--Drug Resources
This module was developed by the faculty of the FSU Maguire Medical Library and can be used for Faculty Development credit and/or CME credit by faculty at the FSU College of Medicine.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of The Medical Educational Council of Pensacola and FSU College of Medicine.  The Medical Educational Council of Pensacola is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians and takes responsibility for the content, quality, and scientific integrity of this CME activity.

The Medical Educational Council of Pensacola designates this educational activity for a maximum of 2 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Objectives

Each participant will be able to:
  • Locate drug resources on the College of Medicine Library website.
  • Identify unique features of each drug resource.
  • Perform searches in drug resources.
To receive Faculty Development and/or CME credit:

1. Take the Pretest
2. View the Tutorials
3. Complete the Quiz and Evaluation

If you are off campus, you will need to know how to connect to the College of Medicine Library Web Page via the Off Campus Access (EZProxy) to answer some of the questions. If you are not sure how to do this, please review the Off Campus Access (EZProxy) Tutorial before beginning the quiz.
1. Take the Pretest
  • Drug Resources Pretest (Approx 5 minutes to complete, 1 MG)
    Prior to the pretest, you will see a screen asking if you wish to participate in a College of Medicine Faculty Development study.  If you wish to participate, type in your name and email address and click the "Submit" button.  If you don't, click the "No Thanks" button. 
    You will then be taken to the Pretest.  When asked for a name at the login window, type in your first name and your last name.
    The pretest doesn't have any sound.
2. View the Tutorials

You will need the free Adobe Flash Player to view the tutorials.

3. Complete the Quiz and Evaluation

Before taking the quiz, you may want to print a copy of the quiz.
  • Drug Resources Quiz and Evaluation Form (Approx 1 hour to complete, 1 MG)
    When asked for a name at the login window, type in your first name and your last name.
