The College of Medicine has a young and rapidly developing alumni relations program. In May, the college graduated its twelfth class -- the 118-member Class of 2016. More than 75 percent of the college’s 1027 alumni are in residency or fellowship at some of the top programs in Florida and across the country. Alumni - both College of Medicine and PIMS - play an active role at the medical school, helping to teach current medical students, serving on community boards at regional campuses and serving as hosts to fourth-year students traveling for residency interviews. "These events are a fun way to get local PIMS and College of Medicine alumni together and gives everyone a
chance to remember why they're doing what they're doing, and where they came from and who gave them the
education they received to become the doctors that they are." -Christie Alexander, President (M.D. '05)
