Job Description
Dr. Childers works with the College of Medicine Education Director in Surgery and the Orlando Campus Dean to implement the required surgery clerkship. It is his responsibility to recruit clerkship faculty, schedule rotations, and monitor student participation.
Biosketch
Dr. Timothy Childers was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida. He loves all sports; is a swimmer, golfer, and thoroughly enjoys his weekly game of pick-up basketball. Dr. Childers is a family man and enjoys spending his spare time with his wife and two young sons. When he is not involved with his College of Medicine responsibilities, Dr. Childers is a member of Surgical Associates in Winter Park, Florida.
