Job Description
Dr. Mobley coordinates the psychiatry curriculum and training of third- and fourth-year medical students at the Pensacola Regional Medical School Campus. He serves as psychosocial facilitator for the Doctoring 3 course on the Pensacola campus. He is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences.
Biosketch
Dr. Mobley is the Escambia County Florida Jail psychiatrist. He has consulting staff privileges at Lakeview Center, which is the local community mental health center. In addition to his position at the jail and his position with the College of Medicine, he serves as the Medical Director of Access Behavioral Health (the managing entity for the Medicaid prepaid mental health plan in Northwest Florida). He was in the private practice of psychiatry in Pensacola from 1987 until 2008.

Service
Dr. Mobley currently serves on two statewide committees. He is a member of Florida's Agency for Healthcare Administration Drug Utilization Review Board and the Expert Colloquium, which is sponsored by the Louis de la Parte Institute (Florida Mental Health Institute) at the University of South Florida. Membership in these two groups allows input into one of his special interests: The quest for the continuous improvement of care of the chronically mentally ill in the State of Florida. Locally, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Mental Health Association of Northwest Florida. He served as President of Baptist Hospital's Medical Staff in 2002.
