Biosketch
|
|
Dr. Terry received her B.Sc. (Honors) and M.Sc. Biochemistry from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria, and her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada. Prior to the Ph.D. program, Dr. Terry served as a Research Officer at the National Root Crop Research Institute and National Research Institute for Chemical Technology, both in Nigeria. She taught Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics, and also served as an Administrator in a secondary school system in Nigeria. She was a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Biochemistry, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. Dr. Terry completed postdoctoral work at the Rheumatic Disease Unit, Department of Medicine, Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada, and the Stout Neuroscience Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, Department of Neurology, University of Tennessee, Memphis. She held a Research Scientist & Laboratory Manager position at Protein Separation and Analysis Laboratory, Bindley Bioscience Center, Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana. Dr. Terry joined the Department of Biomedical Sciences, College of Medicine in September 2005. |
