Background and applications
The Varian Eclipse
fluorescence spectrophotometer provides steady state
fluorescence and polarization capabilities. Collection
modes include fluorescence, phosphorescence, and chemi/bio
luminescence.
This instrument is typically used to:
- examine protein folding/unfolding
- evaluate thermal stability of macromolecules
- examine ligand binding to macromolecules.
