The Leica TCS SP2 AOBS laser confocal microscope is equipped with a Chameleon Ti:Sapphire multiphoton laser.Other fixed laser lines available are 458,476,488,496,514,543,594, and 633.This system allows the user to select excitation wavelengths between 705-980nm. The technology of AOBS (Acousto-Optical Beam Splitter) allows spectacular simultaneous imaging of even four fluorescence proteins without dichroic mirrors or filters.

Images are saved as TIF files. They may be viewed in photoshop, etc. Or Leica has a scaled down free version of their software that can be downloaded from the following web site.
