  • Andree Aubrey, MSW, LCSW, Director, FSU COM Area Health Education Center Program. Interests: health literacy, tobacco cessation, and motivational interviewing.
     
  • Gail R. Bellamy, Ph.D., Director, BCBS of Florida Center for Rural Health Research and Policy and Professor, FSU College of Medicine Department of Family Medicine and Rural Health. Interests: Social factors in health and illness of rural and underserved populations, health policy, and health literacy.
     
  • Les Beitsch, M.D., J.D., Professor and Associate Dean for Health Affairs. Interests: Medicine and public health collaboration and coordination, Terrorism preparedness, Health systems quality improvement and work force development.
     
  • Kenneth Brummel-Smith.M.D., Charlotte Edwards Maguire Professor and Chair, Department of Geriatrics. Interests: Dementia assessment, Comprehensive assessment, rehabilitation.
     
  • Maggie Blackburn, M.D., Assistant Professor and Director, Rural Health Program, Department of Family Medicine and Rural Health. Interests: medical student attitudes toward rural practice and underserved populations, training a culturally competent primary care workforce.

  • Daniel J. Van Durme, MD, FAAFP, Professor and Chair, Department of Family Medicine and Rural Health Interest: Evidence based medicine, medical education, global health and dermatology.
     
  • Gareth Dutton, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Department of Medical Humanities and Social Services. Research interests: obesity/weight loss, diabetes prevention, translation of evidence-based behavioral treatments to applied clinical and community settings.

  • Eron Manusov, M.D., Associate Professor, Dept of Family Medicine and Rural Health, Interests: Diversity, Multicultural and Multiracial with regards to medical education. Personality and characteristics of rural physicians and medical students, Specialty choice: Rural and Primary care, Medical School mission based admissions especially as it applies to rural and primary care medical specialty choice.
